00:REM: MotherBoard Bread

10: 1 package dry yeast
20: 1/4 cup warm water
30: 2 cups milk
40: 2 tablespoons sugar
50: 1 tablespoon shortening
60: 1 teaspoon salt
70: 5-6 1/4 cups flour
 

80:   READ: Soften yeast in warm water
85:   READ: In sauce pan heat, milk, sugar,
shortening and salt until warm. 
90:   REM: (120 degrees)
100: READ: Turn into large mixing bowl.
105: READ: Add 2 cups of flour.
110: READ: Mix well.
115: READ: Add softened yeast, still until smooth.
120: READ: Add more flour, as much as you can mix with spoon.
125: READ: Turn onto floured surface.
130: READ: Knead in enough of remaining flour to make moderately
stiff dough that is smooth. 

131: REM: About 6 - 8 minutes

140: READ: Shape into ball
145: READ: Place in greased bowl ,cover and let rise for
about 1- 1 hours (till double).
150: READ: Punch down
155: READ: Turn onto floured surface
160: READ: Divide in half
165: READ: Shape into loaves
170: READ: Place into pans
175: READ: Brush with melted butter
180: READ: Cover and let rise until about 1 inch above tin.
185: READ: Bake at 375 until brown
190: READ: Remove from pans
195: READ: Brush with melted butter

200: REM: Serve hot from the oven with Honey or JOY STICK Jam
