Short CIRCUIT Bread

10: 1 stick (1/4 lb) butter
20: 1 stick (1/4 lb) oleo
30: 3/4 cup sugar
40: 2-1/2 cups flour
50: READ: Blend thoroughly.
55: READ: Pat into 9 x 13 loaf pan.
60: READ: Prick all over with a fork.
65: READ: Bake at 300 for 40 minutes till tan in the middle
and slightly brown at the edges.
70: READ: Let cool and store in air-tight container.
80: TYPE: For Chocolate Short Bread add 3 oz of melted
un-sweetened chocolate and 1/4 cup LESS flour. |
