10: (1) 12oz package semi-sweet chocolate
chips.
20: 1/2 cup shortening
30: 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
40: 1/2 cup white sugar
50: 1 well beaten egg
60: 1 cup flour
70: 1/2 teaspoon salt
80: 1/2 teaspoon soda
90: 1 cup chopped walnuts
100: 1 teaspoon vanilla |

110: READ: Cream shortening
115: READ: Add sugars gradually, while creaming till light
and fluffy.
120: READ: Add egg and vanilla
125: READ: Mix well
130: READ: Sift flour with salt and soda
135: READ: Combine mixtures thoroughly
140: READ: Add chocolate chips and nuts
145: READ: Mix well
150: READ: Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet.
155: READ: Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes |
