00:REM:ASCII Asparagus

10:    5 thin white bread slices
20:    mayonnaise
30:    (1) 15 ounce can white asparagus  Spears (drained)
40:    1 whole pimento cut into thin strips
50:    1 gherkin cut in 20 slices

55:    READ: Trim crust from bread slices.
60:    Spread bread slices with mayonnaise
70:    Cut each slice into quarters
80:    Cut each asparagus spear in half

85:    READ: On bread squares, arrange asparagus  diagonally
90:    Cut spears to fit
100:  Arrange 2 pimento strips on each  appetizer
110:  Garnish with a gherkin slice.

115: REM: Makes 20
