00:REM:Frozen Screen Chocolate Custard

10: 2 oz unsweetened chocolate
15: REM: (cocoa may be used)
20: 4 tablespoon sugar
30: 1 tablespoon corn starch
40: 1 cup milk
50: 2 egg yolks
60: 1 cup whipping cream
70: 1 egg white, beaten with 2 tablespoon sugar.
80: vanilla
90: READ: Mix the cut chocolate with the sugar and
cornstarch.
100: READ: Heat this with the milk till slightly thickened
and smooth.
110: READ: Beat this into the egg yolks.
120: READ: Place over hot water (double boiler) and cook
until thick.
200: READ: Chill.
210: READ: Add it to the beaten cream, which has been
flavored with the vanilla.
220: READ: Fold in egg white, beaten stiff and smooth with
the sugar.
230: READ: Place in tray to freeze. |
